If you are looking for a legal bookmarker, you may try

Easybets.com
Bet365.com (do not support online transfer, only ATM/Manual deposit)
Ladbrokes.com (Do not support online transfer, only ATM/Manual deposit)
betfair (Few bank choice)
Gamebookers.com

All of above support local bank transfer, if you looking for fast deposit/withdrawal, Easybets... If you are looking for good payrate you can try Bet365.com, betfair... Some say Gamebookers offer good payrate, but My personally experience, not really...

Good luck on your choice...

For betfair, all you need to do is to open a USD betfair account, then you can deposit directly using your local currency to one of the local banks. Funds will be converted to USD once it arrives to betfair and here you go.

For withdrawal, same applied - withdrawal in USD, the funds will then be converted and transfer back to your bank account.

For my choice only 188bet and Mansion88.  Both of the sportbook provide fast deposit and withdraw. Deposit need around 20 min after u submit all document required. Withdraw will be done at the same day (working hour & working day).

It worth to have a try!!!!!!!!

Since Online banking is not available for Malaysia for more than a month now, you have to do local bank in. This is an over the counter (bank) procedure, then you have to send the copy of the bank slips to the books. Quite risky though. But anyway, you will be able to get the bank transfer information from the book that you will signed up with.

I would say 12BET and 188bet are the best when it comes to asianbooks!!! Smile Smile Both of these have great odds and services including deposit and withdrawal.. However, Malaysian are now currently having difficulties in depositing money as problem occurs in deposit methods such as online banking (for an instance).. Frown Frown Frown

Bro,
I think almost all Asian Books would be best for Malaysian customer.
It would be up to you to choose between them.
The competition is good so it would be better for all customers..

Competition among these bookies is an advantage for gamblers like us.
try to pick at least 2 asian book that has good odds and try them for a month. then compare..

This is a good idea bro, but, it would be a waste of time.
The possibilities of not liking them both. lol..
That is why most of new punters asks in forums like this is because they are taking the word of other gamblers to such books.
But finding a book is never easy, sometimes, it is all luck! lol

Cheers Chris but no mate I don't even know what MYR look like Smile

I've been working in Thailand and opened a Betfair account from there and a moneybookers account only to find I couldn't fund through them due to local restrictions. Which isn't really a problem as I can use the funds I sent to MB's on ebay or whatever.

I'm off to Maylasia for a month in the next couple of weeks and then back for a year in March 2010 and wondering how easy or difficult it would be funding my Betfair account from there.

Mansion88 are blocked in Thailand all the Asian ones are.

My question isn't who but how. As I said I alraeady have a Betfair account and was asking how it could be funded. Do I need an account with a Maylasian bank or can I do it over the counter? or can I legally use Western Union.

Really all I am asking is what to expect when I arrive and what the local restictions are on online betting if any

I wouldn't imagine so but I'm unfamiliar with the laws of other coutries. You can of course use proxies to view the sites but funding accounts is made very difficult. Under agreement with the Thai Government the likes of moneybookers or Western Union wont transfer fund if you are a Thai resident.

As I am moving to Malaysia soon I was trying to find out what the situation is there but people seem more interested in recommending bookies
than they do answering the question. Confused

I'm new here and trying still to find my way about the forum. So I've no idea where the majority of people on here come from but I'm sure I'll find out as time goes on.

Now there's a thing. If I click on the link Mansion88 up pops the "Message telling you the site is blocked" if I put the URL in I get on to the site.

That may not make any sense to those of you who don't stay in Thailand but it makes perfect sense to me Smile It's a thing they have.......you can't do this but here's how to do it LOL

Hi,

I thought of opening an account with Betfair cos I've compare the odds among the bookmakers and I feel Betfair is offering very good price. They are the biggest online bookmaker and we can bet as low as 1 pound.

I read thru' their terms and conditions and it seems there are charges for withdrawing money but I'm not sure.

Ow! There are charges for withdrawal? I don't like that. My bookie doesn't have charges for withdrawal. Check them...12BET!

I heard many bad news about them. Just search in AB forum, you will find many complaints. Better avoid.

Yaps.. dafabet always as usual and the best ever. and i always love betting there. Just some tips: you can try using bitcoin that encourage anonymity. I used to play using bitcoin at dreamlandcasino but overall the dafabet and is my always main choice for playing with my credit cards.
